WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a frontend engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in the hi.health’s success.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You develop new products and features from scratch
• You maintain existing features and bring about improvements to product and engineering practices alike
• You collaborate with other engineers, product managers and designers to craft a secure and scalable platform
• You ensure high quality code also by reviewing other team members’ code and practices such as pair programming
• You contribute directly to the architectural planning of our web applications
• You are a role model for engineering excellence, task ownership, accountability and high-quality craftsmanship

IN ORDER FOR YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU BRING:

• You have 1+ years of experience developing web experiences using Javascript, Typescript, React, and GraphQL, and testing with Jest and Cypress, ether full time or potentially by internships or working student positions
• You are positive and resilient, can work autonomously, and are comfortable driving and taking decisions
• You have at least a basic understanding of Cloud, AWS and K8s
• You have experience with Node.js, Flutter, iOS, or Android development is a plus
• You are intrigued by and interested in Fintech, Payments or Insurtech
• You are comfortable working both independently and on a team, within a fast-paced and flexible startup environment
• You are fluent in English; other languages are advantageous as we are working in a fully international team

• Fair salary package: For this full-time position we offer a minimum salary of 47.000,00 € gross per year. Your actual salary will be based on your experience and qualification.

At hi.health we are creating smooth and digital ways to access healthcare, by layering fintech solutions on top of insurance integrations. Our vision: Becoming the No1 app for all financial healthcare concerns in the DACH region.

We are currently a team of 20 people, headquartered in Vienna (AT) but with colleagues spread all across Europe.
